Our service area is approximately a 1 hour radius from Red Deer. Although our work is mostly local, we do many jobs in Sylvan Lake, Blackfalds, Lacombe & Penhold. We have even done work in Stettler, Olds, Innisfail, and Eckville. On occasion we also travel to Ponoka, Rocky Mountain House, Delburne, and other rural areas.

Our team can tackle most plumbing jobs that you have on the go. This can be as small as a leaky toilet or tap, or as big as installing plumbing lines in a commercial bay. We can replace poly B lines, install ABS piping for your basement renovation, or even install a backflow preventer. If you are tired of dealing with hard water we even install water softeners. Any job small or large we can handle. The only plumbing jobs we currently do not offer are camera inspections, and drain cleaning.

An average furnace replacement takes about 8 hours with 2 technicians but there are many variables that can make a job go quicker or take longer. It is not necessary for you to be home but you are welcome to stay.

An AC install can take anywhere from 4-8 hours depending on the level of difficulty, the size of unit, and how many technicians are sent. It is not necessary for you to be home but you are welcome to stay.

We recommend an annual maintenance for both furnace and AC units. The most common time to do a maintenance on a furnace is the Fall, and for an AC it is the Spring. By regularly maintaining your heating and cooling equipment it will ensure it is running at peak efficiency and we can catch parts that may be failing before it becomes a major issue.

We carry a wide variety of styles and brands of garage heaters. Our most common style is a low profile, forced air heater. The main brand we carry is the Modine Hot Dawg. The 2nd most common heater we install is also forced air, but it is a Sterling brand which can qualify for purchase at 0% interest on the Home Depot Credit Card. Click HERE to go to our financing page for details. The other style of heater we carry is an infrared tube heater. These are approximately 12′ long and radiate heat instead of blowing hot air. They are very common in larger shops or garages with taller ceilings.

On average, a water heater replacements takes approximately 2 hours. During this time it is up to you whether or not you want to be in the home or not. We will have to shut your hot and cold water off for this time.

This will depend on which service you inquire about and the time of year. For Duct Cleaning the wait times will be longer in the fall than the summer. Air Conditioning season will have a longer wait time in the heat waves than April. As for general service calls we can typically get to these the same day or next day, and we even offer emergency service after hours for an additional fee. For installations we try to accommodate for same week installs, if not the following week.

Our most trusted brand we install is Comfortmaker which is an ICP product. ICP also makes Carrier, Tempstar and a few other furnaces. We have been using Comfortmaker for over 9 years now and we love the product. We also carry the Trane brand furnace & air conditioner, another well known quality product. Each brand of furnace we carry is high efficiency and comes in a single stage model, or 2 stage variable speed.

All of our furnaces and air conditioners come with a 10 year parts warranty once you register the product online. Our technicians will go over a checklist with you at the end of the job to show you how this is done. Our standard labor warranty is 1 year from the date of install. We do have cost effective extended warranty packages available for purchase as well. To upgrade your labor warranty to 5 years on any furnace installation it is $100, and for an air conditioner it is $120. The 5 year upgrade is the most common package our customers purchase. To upgrade your labor warranty to 10 years on any furnace it is $200, and for an air conditioner it is $250.

Yes, when we are replacing your old furnace or water heater we dispose of the old equipment for you.

For heating season, we recommend inspecting your filter once per month to get in the habit of checking it. If you forget and go too long without checking and replacing it, this can cause damage to your system. Most of our service calls are due to lack of maintenance so this can prevent unexpected repairs. There are many different filter types to choose from, just keep in mind using a higher quality filter will mean changing your filter more often as it is catching more dust / contaminants. As for AC season, we recommend inspecting it once per month as well. Where the main difference comes into play is the filter type / quality used in AC season vs heating season. For air conditioning season, we HIGHLY recommend using a very cheap, low quality high air flow filter. We provide one of these during an AC install and duct cleaning. The reason you want to use a very cheap filter in the summer is because airflow is super important for an AC coil. An expensive / more dense air filter will likely restrict too much airflow causing the AC coil in the furnace to freeze up.

The most common brand of tank we install is Bradford White, but at times we also use AO Smith. If we are doing a water heater installation through Home Depot, the brand we use is Rheem.

All of our technicians have had criminal background checks completed and we are also fully insured. This is an extra peace of mind for any homeowner.

Yes we do, in fact we service and repair all brands of them. This includes Nortiz, Rinnai, Navien, Takagi, AO Smith and many more. We recommend an annual maintenance of these units but it will depend on your water quality and whether or not you have a water softener.
